So it begins again.

There we go. I've finally come to something I like (elegant and simple, not too complex and fairly self sufficient) in terms of a website. It took a long and difficult process of starting over and over and over and over again, changing my approach slightly and getting the most knowledge I could out of it. It was a horribly painful experience and I never want to do it again. Okay, I'm lying, I'm totally going to do it again.

With that said, this will now become my regular blog. When/if I remember to post anything on it is another question. Lots of times I completely forget about it and leave it sit for weeks and weeks without any attention. Hopefully that wont happen this time, but I can't promise anything.

As for who I am, seeing as the only visitors to this website are referrals from BYOND.com, who I am should be pretty obvious by this point. When/if I find myself getting traffic from other sources down the road, I'll probably throw up an about page or something explaining who I am and why my opinion on stuff should matter. Honestly, to the better most of you, it probably doesn't, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to share it anyway.

While I'm at it I should probably mention about the style of writing I've chosen for this little project. Or rather, give a slight explanation of it all. Where as I'm not a professional author, hell, I'm not even a particularly good writer, I still enjoy it on some small level. With that in mind, I'm not going to write reviews in a professional manor. I'm going to lay it flat on the table, my impressions of the media, what I experienced during and whether or not I personally think it was worth spending the money on. That's it, plain and simple.

Seeing as how my current subjects of choice are Anime and Games, it'll probably take a little while for me to get any content other than blog posts up and running. As I generally like to have the media fresh in my mind as I'm explaining it to everyone. I will however make passing mentions and small write-ups in blog posts as I'm going 'cause that's how I roll.

For instance, my brother bought me a PC game today called Bayonetta. I quite like my hack 'n' slash games, but my first impressions of this one make me wonder if it's worth it. But given that I've only played ten minutes of the game (and watched about twenty in cut-scenes...) it's too early for me to make an honest judgement. I hope it turns out okay, every other PS3 game he's bought me has sucked out loud, and he knows it. I'd almost think it was deliberate if they weren't outrageously overpriced.

I think that covers my first blog post of the new10 era. Let's see if the remainder of 2011 can see me pull off this website thing I've been working on for the last x amount of years. If all goes according to plan, I should have three weeks holiday from work starting from the end of next week. However, I've been turned down for holidays practically every month since March, and while not set in stone, it's still perfectly possible they can be rejected and my very soul crushed. Oh well, let's see what tomorrow brings.
